Max Ernst

I have looked at this artist after he recommended by richard as  I was considering to do a painting but as i am very limited on time i am trying to achieve too much time consuming projects in the time span. I am not great influence of his work as its dull colours and in a way basic plainitng i was looking more at block plainting not simplified painting. So i know now that i need to just stick with the 3d and sculpture hands on side of my project and make sure its all to expectations.

Artist biography

Max Ernst 1891-1976German-born painter, sculptor and printmaker; one of the leading Surrealists. Born at Brühl, near Cologne. Began to study philosophy at the University of Bonn in 1909, but became increasingly preoccupied with painting; self-taught, but influenced by van Gogh and Macke. Artillery officer in the First World War.
