From the research of a local artist- Michelle Reader I decided to use old objects which i can get hold of a vass emount of and produce a Human Figure hopefully life size and the whole figure out of bottle tops, but first i need to do a sample to see if i can use any bottle tops.
I have tested metal and simple plastic bottle tops and the was no problems with them. The metal ones were a little more easy to work with as they are a little flexible so they take the shape of the face easier to the plastic keep its strength so if i mix them inbetween each other for my final piece it shoukld be quite successful.
As you can see on the images below the metal ones are clumped together as i was testing to see if the metals ones would hold together before going on future but i left them to stand and cool for 10 minutes and they were fine so i began building on from that to produce the whole face which i really enjoyed making and am excited o make a whole body one.
